Creating your first Collection
First steps of your journey with Flume :)
Connect your Wallet
To create your NFT collection, you will need to have a Crypto Wallet. If you do not have a wallet yet, you can read the Crypto wallet fundamentals. We recommend using MetaMask for desktop browsers if you don't yet have one.
Click on "Connect Wallet" and start playing with Flume 👏
Creating a Collection
Hit the purple 'Create a New NFT Collection' button and you'll jump to the Artwork Editor page.
The Artwork Editor
Once you've landed on the Artwork Editor page you'll see:
In the upper part:
The NFT Title Collection field where you can specify the title of your collection. It won't be editable once the collection is deployed.
The Image Format field where you can specify the size of the images you'll be uploading. Mind that all the images must have the same format and the system will reject all those who are not respecting it. By default, it is set to 500X500.
The number of NFTs you want to generate. If the number of traits and layers you uploaded is too low to allow the system to generate that amount of unique artworks, you'll be warned once you click on the "Generate Collection" button.
The "Generate Collection" button. Once your layers are configured and the content uploaded, hit this button to generate algorithmically your collection. You'll be redirected to the Preview page.
An image frame on the left, click on the 'Preview' button below for viewing random previews of your NFTs.
The "Save" button to save all the updates you did so far on the Artwork Editor. Remember to always click on it before closing the tab/window of the browser otherwise, you'll lose the work you've done!
In the lower part:
The Layer panels, where you upload the content and configure the metadata for each trait. Click on the "Add New Layer" button to add a new layer of traits for your NFT and repeat the process until you're satisfied.
