Flume currently supports the deployment of smart contracts on:

  • Ethereum

  • Polygon

As Flume grows, we'll be adding more and more chains, both for layers 1 and layers 2.

Ethereum or Polygon?

Ethereum (ETH)
Polygon (MATIC)

It is the original blockchain, considered more secure and battle tested

It is newer and it is a layer-2 chain, built on top of Ethereum

High cost of deployment (gas fees)

Low cost of deployment (gas fees)

NFTs have higher value on the market as they are more traded

NFTs have lower value on the market as they are less traded

How to get Funds in your Wallet

Internet is full of articles about how to buy cryptos and move funds to your wallet.

In general, the most common path is:

  • Open an account in one of the most famous Exchange, like Binance, Kraken or Coinbase

  • Transfer your money (Fiat) from your bank account to the Exchange (they'll explain carefully how to do it)

  • Convert your fiat into ETH or MATIC

  • Set up a digital wallet, Metamask is the most famous and used

  • Transfer your ETH or MATIC from the Exchange to your wallet
